Termination of GSOMIA represents a clear and present danger to the national security of not just South Korea, but Japan, the U.S., Northeast Asia and the world. GSOMIA must be extended immediately without any conditions attached.

To solve the issue surrounding GSOMIA, we must not make the mistake of looking at GSOMIA as an isolated incident.

To solve the issue of GSOMIA, we must begin with the fundamental problem - by untangling the deeply rooted problem of war time claims that began the entire GSOMIA fiasco.

As painful as it may be, we must look forward because we have a responsiblity to our children and their children where they can move forward without the burden of history. It must be resolved at some point and we are declaring that it ends now, with us, with our generation.
